Adam Quenneville Roofing, Siding & Windows had the honor of participating in their second annual No Roof Left Behind community program. This program provides a free roof to a local community member in need. This years’ winner was Sherry Medeiros of Springfield.
Ms. Medeiros was one of three finalists out of over 100 nominations. After public voting, her family won with 59% of the vote. Here is the story she shared… “I am recently divorced and have lived in my home for over 30 years. This was my parents’ home and it was given to me. I have two sons and I am struggling to keep a roof over our heads and it’s not happening so well. I do what I can here at my home but a roof is just not something I can afford. Homeowners [insurance] will not cover this because a claim was taken out in 2012 and my ex-husband took the money and ran. I am a 51 year old woman who struggles financially paycheck to paycheck (like many others) but I do work hard to have what I have. I am so appreciative to have this opportunity to enter this contest and hope I’m lucky enough to be selected.”
On October 25th, Adam Quenneville and team invited the community, friends and family to join Sherry in a celebration of the installation of her new roof. Food was donated courtesy of Elegant Affairs.
